I got a few strands of these just to see if making the move to LED is worth it...
I have to say - BIG improvement. very bright, uses much less power than my traditional light strands, and are extremely durable ( i've stepped on these countless times, and instead of hearing that tell tale pop of a traditional bulb - nothing.. not even a scratch.
I'll be gradually replacing all my strands with LED versions. -- bright!
I have some of these faceted lights and other Bethlehem Lighting LED lights, and I am very pleased. The wires seem better made and more durable than the cheap incandescent lights I usually use. It seems that I have to throw away a string or two of those cheap lights every season because half of the lights have died. I am gradually replacing those lights with LEDs. Also, if one bulb goes on these LEDs, the performance of the rest is not affected. I am only into my second year of using these, so I have not yet put their durability to the test, but all the signs are good! Just be aware that the "white" lights have a bluish cast, unless you make sure to purchase the "warm white" lights that are offered in some lines. We love the reds and warm whites but haven't tried other colors. -- YES! These LEDs are a much better holiday option! Efficient and durable.
